Company HistoryCharles E. Schuler Company started fabricating structural steel for the electrical utility industry in Newark, Ohio in 1939. The company continued servicing the electrical industry when they moved in 1988 to its current location in Canton, Ohio. Voigt & Schweitzer purchased the company in 1991 and we became V & S Schuler Engineering, Inc. We have continued to supply the electrical utility market as well as supply structural steel for bridges, buildings, stadiums, conveyor system, concrete imbeds and various other uses.
In 2006 V & S purchased the well know and highly regarded Clark Substations to become V & S Clark Substations, LLC. V & S Clark not only has the facilities to supply structural steel from their fabrication shop but provides engineering services as well as complete substation packages. With this addition V & S Schuler solidified itself as an industry leader in the electrical utility market. No longer will you need to go to one fabricator for structural steel and another fabricator for poles. Nor will you need to go to a packager without any fabrication capabilities who will mark up your project needlessly. V & S Schuler can provide your company with what it needs, within budget and on time.
